As we've stated before, The Gathering convention is in its beginning stages, which means information and resources are currently limited. HOWEVER, we here at the Gathering have made it imperative to keep our followers as informed as possible as new details surface. Below is a short list of FAQ's concerning this convention (please expect for this to be updated as time passes). Alright, here we go:

Well, We've Got Some Answers!
It is an organization of an ElfQuest Convention here in the United States. There seems to be a lot of EQ related get togethers and such overseas but very little in the U.S.A., so we're working to get one started. Besides, lets be honest: ElfQuest DESERVES its own convention!
The idea for the Gathering was originally founded by Kitt Mouri (Leetah KinSeeker), and Shekinah Smith (Nightfall She-Wolf) joined her directly afterwards. Since then, we have also received help through Mandy Roncalio-Meyer (Shadowfire) and many others. Together, we will be holding Councils (discussions) and will keep you all posted as new information develops.
When is the convention going to be?
Right now we have a tentative date set for June 2018 - that gives us over two and a half years to plan this convention as efficiently as possible for the benefit of everyone! As we move further along in the process an official date will become available. Until then, please bear with us!
Where is the convention going to be?
As of right now, the convention will take place in East Elmhurst, New York at the:
New York LaGuardia Airport Marriot
102-05 Ditmars Blvd, East Elmhurst, NY 11369
The Marriott is only a 5-7 minute drive from LaGuardia Airport!
Will there be any special events?
You're darn tootin there will be events! We will work hard to come up with activities that everyone can enjoy! It is also my hope that we establish a method where everyone (even those who cannot make it physically) can feel involved in the fun, whether it be during or after!
Is Cosplay allowed?
OF COURSE! All attendees are more than welcome to cosplay, in fact, it is encouraged. We only ask that your cosplays be EQ related (including Future Quest, Jink). We encourage creativity - whether its a steampunk EQ character, or your own self-elf - but coming as outside characters (such as anime, video games, etc) is discouraged. Let's try to keep this convention as ElfQuest as possible.
Will Wendy and Richard Pini be there?
"One added bonus, we have been in contact with Wendy and Richard on this and as a result, they had a preference for New York. We needed to accommodate them as they are our... GUESTS OF HONOR!" - Kitt
It is our greatest hope to have mom and pop elf be able to attend this momentous occasion. In fact, we chose 2018 because Final Quest should be done by then and we're trying to allot them a time of rest. However, if they cannot come, we will still howl to the moon and back and look forward to the next convention.
