Hold onto your elf ears everybody, because we here at ElfQuest the Gathering have got some great news to share! We have heard your cries! Mark your calendars - ELFQUEST THE GATHERING IS COMING EARLY JUNE 2018!
Yes you heard that right! The convention of a lifetime has just gotten closer to becoming a reality. After some deliberation between Leetah Kinseeker and myself, and our newest addition Mandy (and thanks to a suggestion from ElfQuest fan Kristin - big thank you out to Kristin for being the spark that has lit our candles), we decided to make the beginning of June 2018 a tentative date for the festivities! (As we get more information a specific date will come forward. Until then, bear with us)
Why 2018 you ask? The Final Quest is projected to end in 2017, and we want to give Mom and Pop Elf a few months to take a breather from all the excitement and work before potentially partaking in this new adventure! This also gives us (The Gathering ElfQueteers and Council) enough time to solidify any additional technicalities necessary for this North American convention (such as: location, vendors, hotel info, activities, and so forth).
There is so much to do and plan between now and then, and we are sure that there will be many answers crying out to us from the fandom - but no worries! EQ The Gathering will do everything in our power to keep you guys up to date as information comes in. To stay posted on the most recent of details as they come, please join and/or follow the posted social media sites below.
We know that sometimes life tends to throw curveballs our way, so EQ The Gathering is also working hard to come up with ways to make EVERYONE feel involved during the festivities once the convention starts - yes, even those who unfortunately will not be able to join us physically. We already have considered a couple options and will discuss them more further along in this process!
As exciting as this is, and even though we will soon embark on this profound and exhilarating journey, we can't do this alone. YOU are just as important to the fruition of this dream! Offer us your time, ideas, and services; volunteer and become a member of The Gathering crew!
Together this convention will not only be successful and remain thus, but can be something that all of the ElfQuest fandom can look forward to for years to come! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!
